Walking Whales and Prehistoric Tales: What’s it like diving for fossils while dodging sharks and alligators? Come find out when Jason Osborne and Aaron Alford of Paleo Quest talk about their forays into the murky waters of America, this coming ”Field Trip Friday,” February 8, at 9:00AM PT / 11:00AM CT / 12:00PM ET / 1700 GMT. As Aaron and Jason describe it, these are “…the improbable adventures of two citizen-scientists and their peculiar affinity for vexingly dangerous endeavors, horrifying stenches, first-rate science, cut-rate lodging and generally attempting to annoy fishes, snakes, sharks, gators and crabs by blindly bumbling about the bottoms of rivers.”
